Vietnam Memorial

The Vietnam Memorial, is in Washington DC, and it has the names of 58,195 fallen soldiers of the war. They are listed in the order in which the fell in battle. Over 3 million people visit the wall each year.It is ranked 10th on the " List of America's Favorite Architecture'" by the "American Institute of Architects."

    Very powerful post Julia. The Vietnam War Memorial is a very emotional place to visit. I've seen that painting that you posted before and it is just beautiful.

    I believe I've been there before. I remember seeing my reflection on the wall when I read the names. Such a beautiful memorial.
