This is the Ipswich Veteran's War Memorial. It is located in Ipswich MA, on South Main Street on the green near the Old Court House. There is always a Veteran's Day Parade that ends at this war memorial. Girl Scouts often march in this parade, which I remember doing when I was younger. We would end the parade at this site and sit on the grass, while the veterans would shoot off shells and later we would all run to try and collect them. There is not much information online about when it was built, but it is maintained by representatives from the various veteran organizations from Ipswich.
