The Tarr and Wonson Paint Manufactory building is an old paint factory that is a historical artifact in Gloucester's Harbor since constructed in 1874.
Located on the tip of Gloucesters Rocky Neck, the company was best
known for developing an innovative copper paint used on the bottom of
boats to prevent barnacles and growth. This is just one of the historic things in the Gloucester harbor. I work at the Beacon Marine Basin that still has some of the inventory of this place which is cool cause its very rare since they went out of busyness in the 1980. Projected and funding to resort but keep the antique look are always happening in Gloucester since it a vital piece to my historic harbor.

I never go to Gloucester but I think I might start to, there is so much history there. Peabody has historical things to but I really like building constructed right on the water. Great piece of history, and wow it was a running business for more than 100 years?
